Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Lead the global Marketing Analytics function at Braze, a high-growth customer engagement platform trusted by the world’s most beloved brands. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, you will architect the data strategy that turns billions of customer interactions into clear, actionable insights that accelerate pipeline growth, improve campaign efficiency, and prove marketing’s revenue impact.
- • Own the end-to-end analytics stack—from data ingestion and modeling in Snowflake and dbt to visualization in Tableau and Looker—ensuring every marketing touchpoint is measurable, attributable, and optimized. You will define the taxonomy, implement multi-touch attribution models, and build predictive lead-scoring algorithms that guide budget allocation across digital, events, product-led growth, and partner channels.
- • Partner daily with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and Revenue Operations to translate complex data into compelling narratives that influence C-level investment decisions. Your dashboards will become the single source of truth for how marketing drives ARR, and your quarterly board-readiness reports will spotlight the programs that deliver the highest LTV:CAC ratios.
- • Build, mentor, and scale a distributed team of analysts, data scientists, and marketing technologists located across North America, EMEA, and APAC. You will foster a culture of experimentation, statistical rigor, and continuous learning while ensuring each team member has a clear growth path and the tooling they need to move fast without breaking things.
- • Spearhead experimentation at scale—designing A/B and multivariate tests for email nurtures, paid social creative, website personalization, and in-product messaging. You will codify test governance, champion statistical best practices, and evangelize a “test, learn, iterate” mindset that compounds 1% gains into 10x improvements.
- • Translate Braze’s own product usage data into marketing gold. By analyzing how prospects engage with Braze Canvas, you will surface adoption patterns that inform lifecycle campaigns, identify expansion whitespace for Customer Success, and create case-study proof points that shorten enterprise sales cycles.
- • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Privacy Legal to ensure global compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and emerging privacy regulations. You will architect first-party data strategies, consent frameworks, and server-side tagging solutions that protect customer trust while preserving measurement fidelity.
- • Present findings to audiences ranging from growth marketers to the CEO. Whether it’s a 15-minute stand-up or a 50-slide board deck, you will distill complex regressions into “aha” moments that inspire action. Your storytelling will turn skeptical stakeholders into enthusiastic champions of data-driven marketing.
- • Drive the selection, implementation, and ROI evaluation of the marketing technology stack. You will own the roadmap for CDP, reverse-ETL, and AI-driven personalization tools, ensuring every new platform integrates seamlessly with Salesforce, Marketo, and Braze’s own product telemetry.
- • Champion a culture of data literacy across Marketing and beyond. You will launch internal “Analytics Academy” workshops, publish cheat sheets on statistical significance, and create Slack channels where anyone can ask, “What does the data say?”—and get an answer within minutes, not days.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing analytics, revenue operations, or business intelligence within a B2B SaaS environment; at least 4 years in a leadership role managing high-performing, distributed teams.
- • Expert-level proficiency with SQL, dbt, and a modern cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift); hands-on experience building multi-touch attribution models and predictive lead-scoring systems.
- • Demonstrated success translating complex data into board-level narratives; exceptional storytelling and data-visualization skills in Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools.
- • Deep understanding of the modern marketing and sales tech stack—Marketo, Salesforce, CDPs, reverse-ETL, and product analytics platforms—and a track record of evaluating, implementing, and scaling these tools.
- • Nice-to-have: Advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, or a quantitative field; experience with Braze or similar customer engagement platforms; familiarity with privacy regulations and first-party data strategies.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote-first culture with quarterly travel stipends to meet your team in inspiring locations around the globe.
- • Competitive equity packages, 401(k) with company match, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage from day one.
- • Annual professional-development budget of $3,000 plus five dedicated learning days to attend conferences, pursue certifications, or deepen your expertise.
- • Generous PTO policy, company-wide recharge weeks, and a $1,000 annual wellness stipend to support your physical and mental well-being.
