Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-wide projects and signature events that advance ALSAC’s mission to raise funds and awareness for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. From the first charter to the final lessons-learned session, you will orchestrate every moving part—scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and stakeholder engagement—ensuring each initiative lands on time, on budget, and with measurable impact.
- • Translate complex strategic objectives into actionable, milestone-driven project plans. You will build detailed work-breakdown structures, realistic timelines, and resource-loaded budgets, then track earned-value metrics to surface cost and schedule variances before they become surprises.
- • Serve as the primary point of accountability for cross-functional teams that span marketing, IT, finance, donor relations, volunteer services, and external vendors. Your ability to influence without authority will turn a matrixed group of specialists into a single, high-performing unit united behind a shared vision.
- • Drive executive-level transparency through crisp status reports, risk heat maps, and financial dashboards. You will present to senior leadership and board committees with confidence, translating technical updates into clear narratives that enable fast, informed decisions.
- • Lead large-scale, high-visibility events—think national galas, multi-city fundraising campaigns, or enterprise system rollouts—while simultaneously managing a portfolio of smaller but equally critical initiatives. Your capacity to context-switch without losing momentum will keep every ball in the air.
- • Champion organizational learning by capturing best practices, documenting post-mortem insights, and embedding repeatable processes into ALSAC’s project management methodology. Your work will raise the bar for every future project across the enterprise.
- • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks. Whether it’s a vendor delay, a regulatory change, or a last-minute venue cancellation, you will craft contingency plans that protect the donor experience and safeguard St. Jude’s reputation.
- • Ensure rigorous compliance with internal standards and external regulations. You will maintain audit-ready project files, version-controlled charters, and traceable change logs that satisfy both finance and legal reviewers.
- • Leverage modern collaboration tools—MS Project, Excel, Visio, Teams, and SharePoint—to create living artifacts that keep distributed teams aligned. Your documentation will be so clear that any new team member can ramp up in hours, not days.
- • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring junior project coordinators and sharing your expertise through lunch-and-learns, internal wikis, and cross-department workshops. Your leadership will multiply ALSAC’s project management capability far beyond your own desk.
- • Contribute to enterprise-level strategic planning sessions, offering data-driven insights that shape next-year’s roadmap. Your voice will help decide which initiatives get funded and which dreams stay on the wish list.
