- • Own the full lifecycle of WHOOP’s athlete and talent partnerships across Ireland—from first handshake to headline-grabbing campaign—ensuring every relationship feels personal, purposeful, and unmistakably WHOOP.
- • Act as the day-to-day quarterback for our Irish roster of pro athletes, rising stars, and cultural tastemakers: shipping fresh WHOOP 4.0 straps, coordinating bespoke onboarding sessions, and fielding questions from managers, agents, nutritionists, and performance coaches.
- • Translate raw biometric insights into irresistible stories. You’ll sit shoulder-to-shoulder with our Content, Creative, and Social teams to turn overnight HRV spikes, championship recovery scores, and behind-the-scenes training footage into thumb-stopping posts, mini-docs, and experiential stunts that land on ESPN, TikTok, and every group chat in between.
- • Build and maintain a rolling 12-month calendar of Irish sporting and cultural tentpoles—GAA finals, rugby test matches, Dublin Marathon, music festivals, sneaker drops—then lock in WHOOP activations that feel native to each moment, not bolted on.
- • Negotiate and manage contracts end-to-end with Corporate Counsel: draft scopes, secure usage rights, build performance bonuses, and keep renewals tight so we never miss a beat or a budget line.
- • Create lightweight, scalable systems—shared dashboards, automated gifting flows, Slack shortcuts—that let teammates in Boston, London, and Sydney launch Irish talent moments without waking you at 3 a.m.
- • Hit the road (and skies) up to 25% of the year: pop-up recovery lounges at Croke Park, sunrise trail runs with elite marathoners in Connemara, surprise locker-room installs before Champions League nights—always the face of WHOOP, always closing the loop with real-time content capture.
- • Collaborate with Country Marketing Managers across EMEA to swap learnings, bundle budgets, and co-produce multi-market campaigns that amplify local heroes onto the global stage.
- • Champion diversity in every partnership slate—gender, sport, ethnicity, body type, and story—so Irish members see themselves reflected in WHOOP’s universe.
- • Leverage AI tools daily—auto-generate briefing decks, predict optimal posting windows, transcribe athlete interviews—then layer on the human polish that makes WHOOP magic.
- • Report monthly on partner performance: social reach, engagement rate, earned media value, and member acquisition lift, turning data into clear next steps for athletes and internal stakeholders alike.
- • Stay relentlessly curious: test new social formats, prototype wearable integrations, pitch bold “what-if” concepts that keep WHOOP two steps ahead of the industry.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years in sports marketing, talent partnerships, brand marketing, or entertainment at a global or consumer-facing brand
- • Demonstrated success managing and nurturing relationships with athletes, talent, and their representatives
- • Deep knowledge of the Irish and global sports, entertainment, and cultural landscape
- • Excellent communication, project-management, and organizational skills
- • Comfort with contract structures, negotiations, and ongoing partnership management
- • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
