- • As a Sr. Program Specialist in Risk & Compliance Operations at WHOOP, you will ensure Membership Services is operationally ready to meet legal and regulatory requirements in every member interaction, reinforcing the trust that empowers members to perform at their best.
- • You will translate evolving standards—including data privacy laws and global health regulations—into scalable workflows, systems, and tools that enable compliant, high-quality support for new products and features.
- • Sitting within the Membership Services Program Management team, you will partner cross-functionally to embed compliance into operational processes, ensuring readiness for audits and regulatory scrutiny.
- • You will design, implement, and monitor compliance programs that scale with WHOOP’s growth, balancing risk mitigation with seamless member experiences.
- • Your work will directly support WHOOP’s mission to unlock human performance by ensuring trust and safety in every member touchpoint.
- • You will develop training materials, standard operating procedures, and compliance checklists tailored to Membership Services workflows.
- • You will collaborate with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Security teams to assess risks and implement controls for new initiatives.
- • You will track regulatory changes and proactively update internal policies to maintain alignment with global standards such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA-adjacent requirements.
- • You will measure program effectiveness through metrics and reporting, driving continuous improvement in compliance operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Legal Studies, Compliance, or a related discipline
- • 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, regulatory affairs, or program management within a technology or consumer-facing organization
- • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and health-related compliance frameworks
- • Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable operational processes
- • Experience working cross-functionally with Legal, Product, and Engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
- • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with ability to train non-technical stakeholders
