- • As a Staff Enterprise Architect at SoFi, you will lead the expansion and enhancement of the Enterprise Architecture practice, ensuring technology investments align with business strategy and support rapid growth in a next-generation financial services company.
- • Day to day, you will drive strategic planning by evolving the enterprise technology roadmap, evaluating systems for modernization, assessing emerging technologies like AI, and applying financial rigor to technology decisions using ROI, EVA, and NPV metrics.
- • You will mature architecture design, standards, and governance by defining reference architectures, enforcing governance policies, managing SaaS application lifecycle, and architecting infrastructure for enterprise AI and high-scale initiatives.
- • You will collaborate across business, applications, data, and technology architecture domains, ensuring security and risk are integrated into business processes, guiding microservices and data platform evolution, and providing cloud and Architecture-as-Code oversight.
- • You will act as a bridge between business strategy and technical implementation, translating trade-offs for executives, orchestrating enterprise-wide changes, and mentoring engineering teams to improve productivity and quality.

🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of broad experience across business, applications, data, and technology architecture domains
- • Proven track record in a similarly scoped role owning or enhancing enterprise technology design and strategy
- • Business Architecture Expertise: Working knowledge of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Hire to Retire, Security, and GRC domains
- • Technical Leadership: Deep understanding of SOA, microservices, REST APIs, and real-world experience building scalable, globally-shared solutions
- • Data Proficiency: Experience with master data management, data warehousing, and big data streaming/ETL patterns
- • Infrastructure Awareness: Exposure to IaaS (AWS), IaC, and CI/CD-driven automation
- • Framework Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman, ISO, ITIL, or Agile/SaFE
- • Communication: Exceptional skills to syndicate roadmaps and influence executive-level stakeholders
- • Tooling: Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and emerging AI tools (Copilot, Gemini, Glean) appreciated
- • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in information systems, computer science, or technical/business combination; Current TOGAF certification a plus
