📋 Description

• Record high-quality Japanese voice samples for AI language model training, ensuring flawless diction, articulation, and consistent vocal delivery.
• Deliver voice performances in a bright, sultry, or ASMR/soft intimate style, with expressive, conversational tone — never monotone — aligned with a friendly, empathetic, attentive, and helpful persona.
• Maintain stable rhythm, tempo, pitch, and amplitude throughout all recordings to meet technical specifications for AI training datasets.
• Use a professional or high-quality home recording setup including a microphone, audio interface, headset/speakers, and a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) with plugins.
• Record in a treated acoustic space free from background noise, music, clicks, muffling, echo, or any audio artifacts that degrade quality.
• Adhere strictly to technical requirements for file naming conventions, audio format (e.g., WAV or FLAC), volume levels, silence gaps between segments, and sample rates.
• Submit clear, polished voiceover samples or demos as part of the application, demonstrating range and suitability for AI voice cloning and TTS training.
• Accept and complete time-sensitive tasks with tight deadlines, requiring reliable availability and consistent output quality.
• Be prepared to undergo a test on Lilt’s platform to verify equipment, vocal quality, and adherence to recording standards.
• Commit to a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week when engaged on active projects, with flexibility to work on your own schedule.
• Agree to license your voice for use in AI voice cloning and text-to-speech training systems, understanding the nature of the data’s commercial application.
• Work as an independent contractor with no fixed hours, no required check-ins, and no micromanagement — manage your own workflow and workload.
• Collaborate on global projects that contribute to advancing multilingual AI technology used by enterprises, governments, and AI developers.
• Build your professional portfolio through exposure to diverse domains and content types across industries while working remotely from Japan.
• Earn recognition as a top contributor through performance-based incentives, including higher pay rates, priority access to new projects, and visibility within Lilt’s global linguist community.

🎯 Requirements

• Native speaker of Japanese
• Experience in voice acting, narration, podcasting, or live streaming
• Access to professional-grade home recording equipment (microphone, audio interface, DAW, headset/speakers)
• Ability to record in a treated, noise-free acoustic environment
• Willingness to license voice for AI voice cloning and TTS training
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver consistent, high-quality audio files per technical specifications
